# Got a pill? One-Tap Pill Tracker

One big button to remember your daily pills. No app to install, no account, no lists. Everything stays on the device, and it works fully offline.

## How it works

- Tap the big button = today's dose is done. Green means done.
- Tap **undo** right after to fix a mistap (removes the last tap).
- Forgot a tap on an earlier day? Open **history** and use the + / × buttons on that day's row.
- Multi-dose pills (2-6 times a day) show the next slot: morning, afternoon, evening. You can set real dose times (e.g. 08:00, 20:00) per pill; the next-dose label then uses them.
- The small `x/y · 30 d` number shows the days with all doses taken in the chosen window (7, 30 or 90 days - the Window switch is in the history stats).
- History tab: 30-day bars, a missed-dose list (last 30 days), a year view (12 month tiles), stats (with your average taking time), a month calendar, and the **day streak** (days in a row with all doses taken, counted back from today). Tap a month tile to open the calendar at that month.
- Theme: pick light, dark, or system in Settings (default: system). The app follows your system dark mode setting when it is set to system. If you go offline, an "Offline" badge appears next to Today.
- Add pills or change doses per day in Settings (the gear).
- Top right: save to home screen, share, help, settings.

## Settings

- **Pills:** with several pills, each gets its own button on the home screen. Add a pill with a name (optional — auto-named "Pill #1, #2, …"), doses per day, an optional color, and optional dose times. Reorder pills with the up/down arrows.
  - **Dose alert:** with real dose times set, the app buzzes and shows a toast when the dose time arrives - while the app is open.
  - **Pause:** a pill you are not taking right now (travel, refill gap). It leaves the home screen and does not count as missed. Resume it when you start again.
  - **End:** a pill you stopped. History stays, and you can restore it later.
- **Theme:** light, dark, or system (default). System follows your phone's dark mode setting.
- **Time format:** 12-hour (9:12 AM) or 24-hour (21:12).
- **Vibration:** on by default. Turn it off if you prefer silence.
- **Doctor summary:** a printable table of the last 30 days, per pill, with a dose completion percentage. Show it to your doctor.
- **Your data:** stored only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere. Anyone who can use this browser can see it, so keep a backup by exporting now and then.
  - The "Last backup" line shows when you last exported. It turns to a reminder after 30 days.
  - Export backup: on a phone this opens the share sheet (save or send the file); on a computer it downloads a file. The backup includes your settings (time format, vibration, theme), and import restores them.
  - Import backup (use to move to a new phone)
  - Download CSV: one row per day, one column per pill, dose counts.
  - Clear history: removes the dose log but keeps your pills. Erase all data: removes everything.

## Important note

This is a memory aid (pill tracker), **not a medical device**: it is not a reliable reminder, and its data can be lost. It buzzes only while the app is open, if you set dose times. For anything critical, keep a separate record and ask your pharmacist or doctor when in doubt.

## FAQ

- **I missed a day — is that a problem?** For the app: nothing to fix, it just keeps going. You can add the dose from history. For your health: if you're unsure about the missed dose, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- **I tapped by mistake.** Use the undo button below the big button to remove the last tap.
- **What do I show my doctor?** Settings → Doctor summary. It lists the last 30 days, per pill. Print it or save it as a PDF.
- **Moving to a new phone?** Settings → Export backup here, then Import backup there.
- **Can family share one phone?** Not in this version. One person per browser, so shared use mixes up the history. Family sharing is planned for the Pro version.
- **Do I need an account or internet?** No. It works offline, and everything stays on this device.

## About

Why this exists: pill reminders turned into lists are where pills get forgotten. So: one button. This version is free forever and works offline. All data is saved in this browser's local storage — no data leaves your phone. A Pro version is planned later, with sync between your devices, a report for your doctor, and sharing with family.
